A comfortable choice in Kota Bharu and within easy reach of the central part of town, the Grand Renai is one of two decent city options. The comfortable beds and clean rooms make it an easy choice. Service is good but the place is large and lacks any charm. A short stop here is all that’s needed but we don’t feel there is anything to moan about. Food at the restaurant is good and the hotel is connected to the shopping mall. If you have time to kill or need some rest and relaxation you can enjoy some of the leisure facilities at the hotel. The fitness centre is equipped with a large gym, steam room, saunas and outdoor pool. Please note that as Kota Bharu is a strict Muslim city alcohol is not served at the hotel.
